Bumble Bee decorated plate

This weeks theme over at Just for Fun (links on side bar) is circles chosen by Von.   This weeks project I made was really something I wall mulling over and just changed it to accommodate the circles theme.   The idea came from watching all the honey bees around the blossom on the cherry tree and on the blossom on the quince trees a few days ago.

So, “just for fun” I painted a wooden plate.  It was quite good fun to do and really nice just to do something else for a change.

The red flowers at the side were circles.  To be honest I over did them in respect of everything on the plate but it is not life shattering.  The bees seem to have demon eyes! LOL.   I really enjoyed the challenge.

Have a good weekend everyone.

Best Wishes Florence.

I just love the colours you chose for this – the blues and greens tone so well and then you have your eye drawn to that bright pink on the right hand side which is married into the whole with the addition of the mauve. Very skillful colour choice here, me thinks.
I just love your plate and that would be quite expensive to buy in a little gift shop over here – and would be popular.
You always come up with the goods Florence and I love seeing what you are doing next. Thanks for joining us at JFF each week. Hugs, Neet x

Hi Neet. Lovely to hear from you. I don’t think skill came into it regarding the colour choice. I think it was more luck than judgement! But thank you for saying so. As always thank you for your lovely comments and encouragement.
      Kind Regards Florence.
