Zentangles Doodles JFF Challenge

Over at Just For Fun this week the theme is Zentangles/doodles which has been chosen by Zoe.   I thought I would go with circles for the basic pattern.  Then crop circles came to mind.  This started off quite small but grew! LOL!

After I finished this I did think maybe I could use it as a pattern  for an applique/canvas embroidery project.

Best Wishes Florence.

  3. Hi Florence – did you use pencil for this drawing? I ask because there seems to be some lovely shading in there as well as drawing. Whatever you used you got a fabulous finished piece. There is a lot of work in this tangle and once again you have created a stunning piece.
Thanks for joining us at JFF – Hugs, Neet x.
ps could also do it as the OIympic circles

    • Hi Neet. As always great to hear from you. I used just an ordinary pencil out of the kitchen draw. The only thing with using the pencil is that it did smudge quite a bit. If I was doing it again, which I no doubt will, I would start in the middle and work outwards. I can see where you are coming from with the olympic rings! Thank you for your visit and your lovely comments.
      Regards Florence x

  6. Florence did you actually Draw that?!?! The detail is incredible! I am lucky if I can manage to draw a stick man lol!!

hmmmm wouldn’t it be cool to take a copy of this and cut out some of the circles and pop them up on foam squares so that some were raised higher than others to add dimension. Why is it I always envision your art work framed and hanging on my wall?? Yup framed with a nice dark gray mat surrounding it!
As always, I think you rock! I watch JFF every week to see if there is a challenge that I can sink my teeth into, but I’m afraid I do not have the abilities that you are so lucky to have!!
Hope you have a fantastic week!
    Lisa 🙂

    • Hi Von. Happy Sunday ! LOL! I totally agree! Its funny this week I have seen so many things that remind me of years ago. A bit like the suffolk puffs. It is either a sign of getting older or some of the older ideas are getting revamped and renamed! I would like to think it is the latter. LOL!
Always lovely to hear from you. Thank you for your visit and your comments.
      Regards Florence.
