Crafty Individuals November Challenge

I have made my first  Christmas card! yey! I am entering this into the Crafty Individuals Challenge.  The challenge theme this month, which has been chosen by Lynne from Adorn,  is “Winter Wonderland”.  For full details of the challenge, the beautiful inspirational pieces and all the fab entries click on the link above.

This is my interpretation of a Winter Wonderland.  After I finished this card I did think I could have made it into a shaker card which would have been nice.

The images were stamped onto Judikins glossy card using Ranger Distressing Inks.  The frame was built up from die cuts.  Everything was then layered up on the card.  For the snowflakes I used a punch.

This is one of my favourite CI Christmas stamps (CI 240) but I am also going to use it on a couple of birthday cards this year.   I know two special little people who have birthdays just before Christmas.

Right I am off for a cuppa and to finish the chores.  Have a lovely evening.

Best Wishes Florence.

  2. Hi Everyone, Sorry for lack of blogging over the past week. Thank you so much for all your lovely comments. Your visits and comments are never taken for granted and are truly appreciated. In answer to Ann’s question. Yes, the lace is real. I am realy lucky that I have a lady who designs and makes wedding dresses living locally.

I hope to catch up wither everyone over the next couple of days. Thank you again.
    Kindest Regards Florence xxx

  3. What a fabulous frosty card. I love the icy blue colourings of this and the stamp is adorable, a great idea to use it for a birthday card too. I still think you should have added a hint of pink though LOL! I have been eyeing up this stamp for a while and now I’ve seen what you have created with it I will definitely be buying it. X

This is elegant, nostalgic and quite perfect. Wonderful use of the die cuts.
The shabby chic style certainly speaks to me, you do know how much I love the use of lace and ribbons on artwork lol Beautiful colour choice.
So glad you joined us at Crafty Individuals challenge.

  7. A beautiful challenge card Florence makes you shiver (in a good way) when you see it, so icy.
I have that snowflake punch as well and it’s one of the few I use these days. Love the lace effect down the edge – stamp or real lace???
