Selection of Mothers Day Cards

This week started well. I prepped a lot of projects to get on with and then a couple of my friends asked if I would make some Mothers Day cards for their daughters and daughters-laws. I used the same stamp for all of them but just changed the colours.  I am just hoping they are going to be ok.

That’s it for the cards.  Matilda is coming on nicely but I need some more hooks so she may appear  fashionably late!! lol!

Some of my fun crafts are being put on one side for the next few weeks.  One of my oldest friends Carrie (Mum of my favourite little person Anna) has asked me to make some gifts/prizes for her crafting ladies.  She is going to have a little party, at her house, for the ladies.  So I need to make some invites as well.  Each invite will have a number on which will correspond with a number on a gift.  A bit like a tombola!   I have got a couple of months to produce the goodies but I want to get cracking.   It’s going to be fun!

I am off for a cuppa.

Best wishes Florence x

  3. These are gorgeous, Florence… I especially like the first one… I love that teal/blue/green colour 🙂 Thought I’d pop in to say I still have your beautiful card up on my bookshelf, every time I pass by it, I remember you… I decided that I didn’t want to share the news about it on my blog until a very special day (which will be on Saturday)… and you’ll find out about it then… 🙂

  10. Florence, First of all thank you so much for all your sweet comments on my blog. I have been very active as of late in hopes to be asked to be on a design team. One can dream can’t we? Your 4 latest cards are simply wonderful…I can’t decide which one I like best, but if I had to choose it would be the third one. Love the flowers!!! Also. I see why your friend asked you to help her with her party…you are very talented! Good luck with that!
    Enjoy!

    • Hi there. Thank you for calling in and for your lovely comments. You have made my day!!! In fact you have made the last 12 months of blogging worth while!
I will send you an e.mail with some more info but in the mean time there are some links on my side bar. If you click either of the two under “where I like to shop” and under “favourite stamps”.
I am thinking you may be in Oz?! It maybe worth checking out Carol’s Paper Pantry blog. The link is on the sidebar. Carol is in WA and has a lot of interesting links on her blog.
I hope that helps. Come back to me if you have any questions.
