Morning everyone. This is a really quick post as I wanted to enter the Addicted To Stamps Challenge. This weeks challenge is Bingo. I have chosen the bottom line of the bingo chart Blue, Button, Flower. For full details of the challenge and the DT’s inspirational pieces click here
Here’s my little card.
I have just mat and layered the base and added some frills. For the flowers: I used a navy marvy marker and stamped onto Judikins glossy card stock. I then just cut these out and just sponged on some distressing inks around the outside edges. Stamps used Chocolate Baroque.
Now wasn’t that quick and painless!! lol!
Happy crafting everyone.
Best Wishes Florence x
It was completely painless for me Florence lol In fact it was quite the opposite as it has made me so happy to see this beautiful card and all the wonderful elements on it 🙂
Love Chrissie xx
Morning Chrissie. I’ve been chasing this card around the garden for the last half hour. It’s blowing a hooley outside at the moment! lol! Thank you for your lovely comments. Great to hear from you.

Good morning Florence, what a lovely surprise ! Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful card with us at Addicted to stamps. I just adore the tone on tone colouring and the fabulous layout. Looks like a lot of fussing cutting went on here doesn’t sound like a quick card to me. Love the layering and the pretty lace, thanks for sharing with us and good luck !
Marie
Morning Marie. Hope all is well. I am really pleased with these stamps because the images are so easy to cut out. No fiddly diddly bits at all. Fabulous challenge. Thank you for your lovely comments. Great to hear from you.

This really is a dream in blue, simply gorgeous! Valerie
Morning Valerie. Hope you are ok. Thank you for popping in and for your lovely comments. Take care.

That is the loveliest of cards! What do you do with all of your cards once you have made them? x
Hi there. Hope all is well. Lovely to hear from you. If I don’t use the cards they go into a box and get divided up amongst my friends. I do a swap with them for their “cast offs”. Things like broken jewellery and bits of fabric etc. I also make batches of cards for our Doctor’s wife. Just as a little thank you because they look after us so well. It’s very hard to find cards to buy where I live.
Regards Florence xx
That is so lovely. Handmade cards are better than getting a ‘present’, I always think. x
This is fab, Florence. That beautiful flower image looks so lovely with the lace and pearls, just perfect. Sue x
Hi Sue, Lovely to meet you. Thank you for popping in and for your kind words. Keep in touch.

Florence- this is sooo romantic. Absolutely lovely!! Try and stay cool -I can relate, it’s been in the hundreds for days here. Very unusual for this time of year and a bane to the firefighting efforts. oh, by the way, if ever your lovely things are lonely and feeling left out you can send them to me…I’ll take good care of them LOL
Hi Wendy. Hope all is well. The temp has dropped a little this week but it’s going back into the 30s towards the weekend. Fires are always a worry this time of year. Thank you for your lovely comments. Always great to hear from you. Stay cool!
Regards Florence xx
Absolutely painless for me lol, quite the opposite, but all that fussy cutting would be painful for me !!!I just love this card; it feels so fresh ; the blue is just gorgeous, and the layering is superb.
Hi Gisele. Great to hear from you. I don’t do fussy cutting. If you look real close I cut the flowers out really quickly and the DI’s cover up all my sins 🙂 Thank you for your lovely comments.
Regards Florence xx

Hello From A Very Wet Scotland
Beautiful deep blue (reminds me of pottery) and your layering is perfection.
Yes, I am watching the tennis, not all the matches. Andy Murray had be on the edge of my seat yesterday evening – not good for the blood pressure at all!
Wishes
Lynne
Hi Lynne. What I would give for some wet weather at the moment!! lol! We are never satisfied hey! Funny you should mention pottery. The day before I made this I was looking at a Welsh Dresser in a House and Garden type magazine and it was full of delftware so maybe that was in the back of my mind. I missed the Rafa match!! I couldn’t believe it. It probably was the match of the tournament. I’m shouting for Novak now. Thank you for your lovely comments. Great to hear from you.
Regards Florence xx
