Hi everyone.
The challenge this week over at Addicted to Stamps is a CAS Card.
I didn’t intend to make three cards for this post. The stamping was slightly wobbly on the first and second and probably on the third. By this point I thought I would give it up as a bad job and just go with it! lol!
The idea for this card came from some wall paper that I saw on Emmerdale (UK tv soap). If anyone watches Emmerdale it is the wall paper in, what was, Gennie and Katies cottage. Lovely paper. I wouldn’t be able to live with it though. Sorry too much woffling!
The first of the cards is the one I am entering into the challenge.
I have used the same technique on all of them. I used a masks and die inks to create the circles and stamped over them using the bamboo stamp and black Archival ink. I then added the words, again using Archival ink.
I must try and stand straight when I take photos. Just tilt your head to the right and everything will be ok….. thats better……thank you.
I stamped onto glossy card stock. I am not sure if you can see in these photos but the glossy card looks a dirty white against the white cardstock so I added some pretty papers to break it up. CAS cards are still new to me so I hope these qualify.
Stamps used: Bamboo – Judikins, Word stamps – Rubbadubbadoo
Happy crafting. Thank you for looking.
Best Wishes Florence x
Florence, these cards are beautiful and they most certainly qualify as CAS. I love the thin patterned boarder behind the main piece.
For me, sometimes these are harder than the more ornate cards. I love doing them both.
The CAS ones can be just as time consuming.
Great cards Florence. Love the CAS style but I find it very difficult – I always want to add just one more details, and one more but your cards are perfect.

Clever use of the circles and the bamboo stamp Florence. The colouring is just beautiful..Good idea to break up the two tones of white with a coloured card–inspiring work as always.
