Parisian Rose Card

Hi everyone

This weeks Addicted to Stamps and More challenge is “Flowers”.

DSC_0008

I have used various bits of scraps of pretty papers on this card.  I am on a mission to use all those little tiny pieces up.  You know the ones “I will keep that just in case”! lol!

I started off by embossing a piece of water colour paper and cut it to size   I used a die to cut out a fancy boarder. I cut a piece of blue with white spots paper to size. I placed the boarder behind the paper and then sewed this onto the water colour paper. I then attached this to the base card using glue.

I then attached the Eiffel Tower tag and the french garden ticket with some double sided tape.

I made a little white frame out of water colour paper using a die and attached this with some foam tape.

I stamped my rose onto white card stock using grey ink.  I cut it out and just edged it with blue ink using a sponge.  I attached this to the frame using foam tape.

I stamped my text onto a small piece of card, cut it out and distressed the edges. I then attached this using foam tape.

I used a die to cut out a fancy square and edge it with blue ink.  With a pin I made a couple of holes in it and then sewed the button to this.  I attached this to the card with some hot glue.

Happy Crafting.

Best Wishes Florence x

  1. Hi Florence – stunning card you’ve put together with all those bits! Wish I had such good luck when I try to do that – somehow it just looks like I put bits together in one big bunch. Not elegant and artsy like yours. Thanks for the “eye candy”. Hugs to you dear lady. D
