Chocolate Baroque Birthday Colour Challenges

Hi everyone

Its pouring down with rain today and it is wonderful!!!  Yep that’s right.  Everywhere looks lush and green and just a hint of color from the Spring flowers.

I love this time of year and we only probably have a couple of weeks of the garden looking like this before it all starts to burn off and go dry.

Today I wanted t share some tags I made for the Chocolate Baroque Birthday Challenge a couple of weeks ago.

For these tags it was a case off splodging, masking, stenciling and really just seeing what evolved without too much planning.

I really enjoyed making these.  I think probably because they were not colors I would normally have chosen to put together.

I did make a mistake on the next one.  I miss-stamped a butterfly so I chopped him off….Off with there heads!! lol!

I used the same stamps as the ones above for the next tag but just changed the color.

The only thing I wished I had thought about more was the color of the center (the bulb shape) against the background….but hey ho its a timed challenged! not going to loose any sleep over it.

All stamps used are from Chocolate Baroque.

Well that is all from me today.

I will be back tomorrow on my card blog with some CB DT projects. Yep the colorful Rooster card that made a quick appearance a few weeks ago, by mistake,  is coming back!! lol!

Happy Easter Everyone.

  4. Hi Florence, just taking the time to discover your blog… (one of your blogs I see above, I will have a look on the others too asap!) that’s a wonderful set of freely made tags with lovely masks and stamps… Love the bees, love the steampunk flowers (I NEED them one day haha), LOVE your tags! Happy Easter, hugs xxx (and the same for me regarding the rain and weather, sometimes it’s really good for our gardens.. Livinig in Brittany, I have no problem with that haha)

  5. They’re all lovely, Florence – clear to see you were having lots of fun with these amazing stamps. I love all the vivid colours, but it’s probably the first one that wins for me – the gorgeous fiery tones, the trees (especially the genius stitched bark texture), that lovely dove and the Sanskrit proverb – altogether wonderful!!
Glad to hear you’re enjoying your brief green spring… hope you’ve been having a lovely Easter time.
    Alison xx
