Hi everyone
How is everyone doing?? Are you ready for Christmas, not started yet or have you gone into panic mode and hiding under the duvet!! I am getting to the duvet stage!! lol!
This evening I would like to share with you two domino broaches that I made the other night. To be honest I was just having a play around but I quite liked how these turned out. They are really quick and easy to make.
The idea for these came from the little seahorse stamp in one of the new Chocolate Baroque stamp sets. It fits perfectly onto the domino.
Domino size = 4.7 cm x 2.3 cm approx.
I coloured the flat surface of the domino with archival ink and left it to dry.
I then just stamped the seahorse using archival ink.
I attached the seed beads with Diamond Glaze.
You don’t really see the glue in real life.
I then painted the back and sides with black craft paint and sealed the whole piece with Mod Podge.
It just needed a jewellery pin on the back and job done.
For the second domino broach, I painted the Domino with black craft paint.
I stamped the little seahorse onto a a piece of white card, colored it and then just tore around the edges to a size to fit the dominio.
I attached the seed beads, again, using Diamond Glaze.
I sealed the whole piece with some Mod Podge and secured a pin to the back.
Chocolate Baroque Stamps used: Steampunk Funky Fish.
Thank you for looking.
Take care,
Florence x
Thanks for the inspiration, I found some domino’s a few weeks ago and was wondering what to do with them, this is a great idea.

So unusual – great colours and the beads add wonderful texture.
I am still in the middle of cardmaking (and tags and gifts) despite what was my planned deadline of 30th November – that deadline is well and truly out the window!!!

Whilst writing – may I take this opportunity to wish you a promising, peace filled, contented New Year. I hope 2015 brings you everything you want it to.
