Chocolate Baroque Color Challenge

Hi everyone

Just a few hours to go before the big man arrives….are you all excited???
Have you been good or have you been naughty?

Today I would like to share a couple of tags I made for the Chocolate Baroque Color Challenge.

Flo Langley CB Color Challenge 5 002A1I stamped my images (starting with the flowers at the bottom which I wanted to appear at the front, masked them, stamped some more images and masked them etc.
I colored the background using Distress Inks.
I then removed the masks and colored the images using some water color pencils and a damp paintbrush.
To seal the ink I gave the tag a quick spray of fixative and two coats of Mod Podge.

Flo Langley CB Color Challenge 5 006A1For my second tag I used a sort of bandana technique.
I colored my base tag with Distress Inks and then stamped the images randomly on the tag.
I gave the tag a quick spray of fixative to seal the inks and added the white highlights using a white marker pen.
To finish the tag I gave it two coats of Mod Podge.

Chocolate Baroque Stamps Used: Punky Flowers, Steampunk Birds, Steampunk Travel, Steampunkery.

  1. Florence, Those colours are gorgeously intense and such clarity. I am especially taken with the first tag, the way you coloured the images, absolute perfection.
Wishing You and Yours a Wonderful Christmas.
