Here is another little offering for this months Chocolate Baroque Color Challenge 9. To see full details of the challenge, the inspiration projects by the team and all of the wonderful entries please click on the link above.
Here is my little plaque.
Cut a piece of 5mm mdf/hard board to size.
Stamp the image onto thick card using Archival ink or similar.
Mask (liquid mask) off the stamped images.
Spray the card with different colors of *Dylusions ink. Let this dry and repeat until you have the effect you like. *If you haven’t got any Dylusions Spray Ink you can use Distress Inks and spritz them with water and let the ink run. Water color washes will also work.
Remove the masks.
Color the image.
Apply a couple of coats of spray fixative to fix the inks.
Add a coat of Mod Podge.
Attach a piece of pretty paper to the back of the mdf plaque using PVA glue and trim to size.
Attach the stamped and colored card to the front side of the piece of 5mm mdf using PVA glue and trim to size if necessary.
Apply another coat of Mod Podge to the stamped piece.
Edge the piece with gold wax and add the embellishments.
Attach a small hanger on the reverse side of the plaque (on the pretty papers) using epoxy resin or similar strong glue.
Chocolate Baroque Stamps Used: Mermaid Queen A5 Set.
That’s all from me today.
