Simple Halloween Tags ….. Whooooooo! 3 Tags

Morning everyone

Happy 1st of September

The Spookylicious season is fast approaching.

Today I would like to share with you some tags I have made using the super new “Hocus Pocus” Halloween stamps from Chocolate Baroque.

I don’t make many cards for Halloween.
Just a few for my favourite little people but I do like to have tags made up so I can quickly pop them on bags of candies and lollies.  They are also handy to pop on a bottle of wine if you are going to any parties!

I adore this creature.  He has been lovingly named Gilbert by my CB teamie Julie.  I wasn’t sure of him at first but once I started to use the stamp that all changed.

For the edge of this tag, I painted on some lemon juice.  A really old technique.  Fresh lemon would have been better.  If you have never used lemon juice in projects before.  Paint, splash or drop lemon juice onto your card stock and then heat it with a heat gun.

The attention to detail on these stamps is fantastic. I hadn’t noticed the little ghost behind the mushrooms until I started to colour the image.
The spider is really great.  It is an individual small stamp, without the cobweb…so useful.

Thank you for looking

Hi Gio, Thanks for calling in and for your lovely comments. Lemon juice is quite good fun. A really, really old technique used for aging. Fresh lemon juice works better in my HP and you get different results on different paper or card. On some paper you can even burn through to give it a parchment look.
      Sending hugs down under! 🙂

I was sure I commented on these… I loved the silhouettes on the neutral tones, so subtly spooky, and that fabulous green owl zinging against the background.

Hi Flo, a little walk tonight on your beautiful blog I love, and what is really great with it is that I’m never disappointed even when I’ve not much time to catch-up with several blog posts..
Love love your Halloween tags, all very beautiful (you agree, this set of stamps is gorgeous and some absolutely cute in addition!), and oh, I didn’t know about this fun technique of lemon juice.. I will try it!
    Hugs, Coco xx
