Recycled Pallet Block – Tree tops and whispers

Hi everyone

I hope you are all well.
Thank you to everyone who left comments on my last post.  Your comments are very much appreciate and it was lovely to hear from so many old friends.

Today’s little project is another quick make. It is something I have had in my mind for a while.  Nothing difficult just fun crafting.

Florence Langley Dec Pal Block 002AWM

I found some old weathered pallets at the top of the garden a while ago and hid all the salvaged bits in my shed outside so that “someone” wouldn’t be tempted to put them on the wood burner.

I lightly stippled the surfaces with white craft paint.
I stamped my images, cut them out, added a coat of gel medium and just attached them with hot glue.
I then attached the feet.

  3. Oh, it’s adorable Flo!!! 😀
What a super idea of recycling these wooden cubes in this way… The result is just great!
Hugs and many thanks for all your lovely personal words on FB.. I’m sorry to answer you directly on your blog (not the best way I know) but I’m so stressed by my two workshops coming very soon (I’m not completely ready) in addition to the rest, that I cannot go on FB anymore before the term… It would not be reasonable! 🙂 xxx
