Artist Trading Coin

Helloooo! to anyone who may be calling in today. I hope you are enjoying the weekend. Great to have your company.

Here is a little something I made recently for the Mixed Up Mixer (on face book)  Artist Trading Coin swap.

It was really good fun to make. I didn’t know anything about artist trading coins so I did a bit of googling and found that Craftyhodges on Youtube thought up the idea and started it off.  They are just like an ATC but round hence the “coin”. A bit like a card topper really.

Thanks for looking.

Take care,

Flo x

  4. So pretty, Flo! I love the face on this coin. I have seen a lot of these fabulous coins lately but have yet to jump on the train. I am a bit intimidated by the small scale.

I’ve never got into ACT but maybe the coins will inspire, Kate x x

    1. Hi Kate. Hope all is well up in Scotland. I never got into the ATCs. Always fancied doing them but never got round to making them but I do like these coins. Nice way to use up scraps. Lovely to hear from you. Thank you for calling in.
      Hugs Flo xx

  7. Good day, Flo! I am so glad to see you, again ♥ Finally, a day off and I get to stop by and see your fun art. Yes, I’ve heard of ATCs, but not the coins, and yours is a delight! I like the pop of red in her dress and on her lips – what fun!! I’m also looking forward to seeing what you’ve been up to in the wood-working arena. Have a lovely, blessed day, my friend!

    1. Thank you so much Marrianne. So nice to hear from you. I hope you have had an enjoyable day off. Some wooden projects are in the pipeline. Having so much fun designing the little characters on paper!!!! Take care my lovely friend. Hugs Flo xx

  8. Hi Flo,
Yippee, it’s so lovely to hear from you again on your blog!
I have to try these ATC coins too, as it is fun I know. I’m just really too busy at the moment, but a bit sad to have not tried this new support yet of course 🙂
Loving your feminine collage version here, beautiful! Or maybe, with a bit of tranfer?…
    Lots of hugs,
    Coco xx

  9. Hi Florence, how are you, moving is such a joy when its all done. I am new to ATCoin but I do love the concept. May I ask is it a 3″ circle? I think it is a beautiful idea, they could be used for so many lovely things. Keep that sunscreen slopping in the heat. Barbara x

  10. Thank you Barb. Lovely to hear from you. Hope all is well. It was 2.5″ in diameter. I should have put that. It is a large photo. The circle appeals to me a little bit more than a conventional ATC. Not sure why 🙂 They are a lot of fun and I agree with you that they can be used for lots of things. Take care, Flo xx

  11. I thought I would pop by and see if you had surfaced, and here you are with this bright and beautiful ATCoin, so artsy and love that pretty face. I hope you are settling in after your move. I think it is the most stressful thing and great when unpacked and having found a home for everything, or not as the case may be…lol. Take care. x
