Squirrel Saturday

Hi everyone,

I hope you are all enjoying the fabulous weather we are having at the moment. Isn’t it glorious.  I just had cuppa outside and sat watching the hawks flying overhead. Isn’t nature wonderful. I love this time of year. All of the spring flowers are through. You watch, next week it will probably snow!! 🙂

Last week I managed to take a few photos of some squirrels who were being quite friendly and brave coming out and saying hello. They are in hiding today…probably because of the hawks!

I took the photos from inside the house through the window. They are not the best but I am happy with them.  A nice memory to keep.

I think he is licking his tongue out at me! 🙂

last one.

That’s all from me.

Have a fantastic weekend.

Hugs Flo x

Hi Beverly, Thank you for calling in. It’s the actual coconut. I buy the coconut and saw them in half and just hang them out for the blue tits to eat. When the nut has gone I mix a bit of lard with seed and fill them up with that. Have a lovely weekend. Hugs Flo x

Hi Pippa. Thank you for calling in. I do feel enormously blessed with the wildlife we have in the garden. It’s only small but we have such a variety of visitors. Luckily there are only red squirrels here on the island. I love both kinds though 🙂 Have a lovely weekend. Hugs Flo xx

You put a smile on my face today, thank you, Flo! Love seeing free animals and love people that feeds them 😀 Wonderful photos, that young squirrel is delightful and fun!
    Big hugs!

OH Flo, your squirrel photos are just NUTS! tee hee! I couldn’t resist! What great shots, so colorful and fun. I’ve always loved watching them play in the yard – ours comes down to the tree to take the sunflower seeds from our macaw bird! They are quite something – beautiful!
