Rose – Digit Art

Helloooo to anyone calling in today.

Autumn is definitely here. Not sure I am keen on these early dark nights except for the fact that I can play on the computer and not feel guilty about it.Β  The weather is a great excuse to get out certain chores isn’t it! πŸ˜‰ “I can’t start the painting and decorating because I need the windows open and its far too cold” or “It’s far to wet to get out and clear the paths and gutters”.Β  I am Just being lazy really!! he he.

Anyway, so taking full advantage of the weather conditions (Note the new positive attitude to things!) I played around with some digi elements. This is “Rose”.

I bought some deep frames from the charity shop a couple of weeks ago. They are quite scratched so I will have to paint them but I thought I would make some digi art to go in those.Β  Or maybe I can get the pieces printed onto canvas. We will see. You never know I might even hang them up when I have done the painting and decorating!!!! πŸ™‚

Thank you for looking.

Take care,

  1. She is very lovely Flo. I am currently playing around with a digital junk journal kit I bought at the weekend. The elements are delightful bit I fear my interpretation will prove more junk than art! Enjoy your day and Thank you for the inspiration you never fail to bring. Marion s UK

  2. Hi Marion, Thank you so much. Lovely to hear from you. That sounds fun and so addictive! πŸ™‚ You can’t go wrong. I am sure whatever you make will look lovely. Are you printing and sticking or are you building up layers on one piece and then printing it? I am sure you know but check out the Graphics Fairy. They have lots of free images you can use as well. Do let me know how you get on with your junk journal. Hugs Flo x

    1. Unfortunately I lost my ancient Photoshop software – version 4 can you believe – when my pc died earlier this year so I’m printing and sticking. Thanks for reminding me about the Graphics Fairy. I made some beautiful vintage Christmas cards with her help a few years back. Hope the sun’s shining at your end of the rainbow this afternoon Flo. 3. She is gorgeous Florence and will look fabulous hung up. I too hate the dark mornings, it sure is a very windy and chilly day here today.

  4. Amazing canvas Flo, it surely will be a great home decor hanging down by your walls, when you will put a brush on them (on the walls LOL). I’m very busy with work, but I wish -and dream!- some day for being lazy and chilling, with no plains and things to be done! πŸ™‚

    1. Thank you Alice. I am hoping to paint very very soon. It would be nice to have no plans and things to do but then we would get bored!! lol! Hugs Flo xx
